iPhone and iPad Apps
Pixelview Player is a free app for iPhone, iPad and Apple TV. It keeps a list of your sessions, logs in by QR code, and supports HDR on recent devices.

View a stream
To join from a link, open the Watch link from the host on the iPhone or iPad. If Pixelview Player is installed, the link opens the app.
To add a stream manually:
- Open Pixelview Player.
- Add a stream: scan the QR code, or enter the Stream ID and Password from the host. The host finds them on the Sessions page in Admin.
- Enter your viewer name if prompted.
- Tap Connect.
Added streams stay in the app's project list with title, thumbnail and status: live, paused, offline, full or unavailable. If access is revoked or the project is deleted, the stream is removed or marked unavailable.
In a session you can use text chat (with photo and camera attachments), video chat, iOS screen broadcast and annotations. To send the session to an Apple TV, tap View on Apple TV or scan the Apple TV's QR code. See Apple TV Viewing.
Display settings for color accuracy
Before a color-critical review:
- On iPad Pro, turn on Reference Mode.
- Turn off True Tone and Night Shift.
- Turn off automatic brightness so the level does not change during review.
- Test the exact device before the client session.
On supported devices the app follows the session's color profile, including Rec.2020 PQ, Rec.2020 HLG and P3D65 PQ. HDR also depends on the device, iOS version and app version.
